Bodegas Alion Ribera del Duero 2021

Alion from the iconic winery of Vega Sicilia, produce a modern style of Rioja. The 2 plots from where the grapes are sourced , which complement each other are united by the same viticulture as Vega Sicilia and have given rise to firm structured wines. Alión, is aged in new French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months and not bottled until it is ready for drinking. It is, without a doubt, the most universal wine of the family. It is intense, complex, full-bodied, yet still elegant. It`s modern, genuine and multicultural character makes it easy to pair with many dishes, but lamb would be my favourite match.
