De Wetshof Limestone Hill Chardonnay 2024

De Wetshof specialise in site specific wines, the Limestone Hill is from a vineyard with heavy clay soils, rich in Limestone. The wine displays fresh citrus fruit, ripe nectarine and lemon zest with a little touch of candyfloss and floral aromatics on the nose. On the palate the wine has a real focus with vibrant acidity while extended lees contact balances the wine with added weight, the flavours are ripe and concentrated with stone fruit characters, citrus peel and a steely finish.
